Airline unions to come under one banner

New Delhi: Nearly 20 unions representing employees in state owned airlines are coming together to form one group to take on the government. "All the employee unions of the Indian civil aviation industry will come under one common umbrella," said Nitin Jadhav, Joint General Secretary, AAI.
The new group is also asking employees of private airlines to join the gang and first off the block are employees of Jet owned Air Sahara. They have formed their own union and are seeking the Left Front's help to keep their benefits.
