Air-India resumes Mumbai, Delhi services from Muscat

Muscat: The services of Air-India, the national carrier of India, have been re-introduced to Mumbai and Delhi from Muscat with three flights a week to each destination effective from yesterday. With this move, the budget airline, Air-India Express, a subsidiary of Air-India, will only be flying on the Kerala sector.
And passengers travelling to Mumbai and Delhi on Air-India will get all the benefits and privileges of a full-fledged legacy carrier including economy and business class services with convenient flight timings. This was announced at a press conference yesterday by officials of Air-India.
As per the new schedule of Air-India, there will be two direct flights to Delhi and one indirect with day time arrival for the convenience of those travelling to the interiors from Delhi. Flights to Mumbai will comprise two indirect flights and one direct flight with connections being provided to Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, etc.
