Damania bros exit Kingfisher

Bangalore: The Damania brothers, Pervez and Vispi, who played a vital role in the launch of Kingfisher Airlines, are making a sudden exit from the company. Sources said the brothers are moving out in the wake of “a cultural gulf” developing between them and the airline.
UB sources confirmed the exit of the Damania brothers. However, they scotched rumours about the exit of airline’s COO Nigel Harwood. For the record, Damanias came to the limelight when they floated Damania Airways in the 1990s as the aviation sector opened up. The airline closed down later.
Pervez Damania was the head of in-flight services and airport operations, while Vispi Damania looked after the commercial functions. “We have ready better skilled replacements for both,” added company sources.
