Flights rescheduled for President’s visit

Pune: President APJ Abdul Kalam’s visit to Lohegaon Air Force Station will cause minimum disruption to civilian air traffic and functioning of the Pune International Airport as he will be landing in the Air Force technical area. While morning flights on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be rescheduled slightly to accommodate Indian Air Force exercises in connection with the visit from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm, there will not be any cancellations.
Jet Airways has announced the rescheduling of its Mumbai and Delhi flights for the three days. The 9W 105 Mumbai Pune flight will reach Pune at 12.30 pm while the 9W 106 Pune Mumbai flight will leave the city at 1 pm. Similarly, the 9W 365 Delhi Pune flight will arrive here at 7.50 am and the 9W366 Pune Delhi flight will depart at 8.20 am.
The President is scheduled to arrive at Lohegaon Airport by an Indian Air Force flight on Wednesday evening.
