Khurana seeks meeting with Sonia on Kandahar

New Delhi: Former BJP leader Madan Lal Khurana on Saturday said he has sought an appointment with Congress chief Sonia Gandhi in connection with his allegations against former External Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh over the 1999 Indian airlines hijack.
The former Delhi Chief Minister told reporters he would also hand over copies of complaints to Gandhi against BJP leaders L K Advani and Sushma Swaraj when he meets her.
The expelled BJP leader has made a series of allegations against Advani and Swaraj, which the party has dismissed as baseless and acts of "blackmail" by him.
Earlier this week, Khurana and Congress leader R K Anand accused Jaswant Singh of having paid ransom to the IA hijackers under international pressure, a charge denied by the former External Affairs Minister.
