Delhi to Rome in seven-and-a-half hours

New Delhi: Starting January 15, the Colosseum and the Pantheon in Rome will only be seven-and-a-half hours away from Delhi. To get there, all you?ll have to do is book yourself onboard a Eurofly direct flight from Delhi to the Italian capital and historic city of Rome.
According to Armando Brunini, executive vice president, Eurofly, the airline will operate the route using a brand new A330 aircraft with a configuration of 256 seats in economy and 26 in business class.
The catering onboard will be a mix of Italian and Indian and so will be the crew. And to hook the price sensitive Indians, the airline has fixed the return fare at Rs 20,000 plus taxes.
The annual growth in traffic between the two countries is estimated at about 25 per cent. And since a direct flight is known to stimulate traffic, Brunini is optimistic that the new flight would grow the traffic on the route by at least 10 per cent.
