'Hotel California' pays heavily for aeroplane shoot

The makers of the film have already set aside 25 lakh just for the shots inside aeroplanes and in airports
Shooting in airports and aeroplanes cost a bomb  to the tune of 60k an hour. Not many Malayalam films have been shot inside aeroplanes due to the formalities and the heavy expenses involved. But the makers of the Jayasurya-starrer Hotel California are sparing no efforts to make the film as real as possible."We have taken the permission of the Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) authorities. The charges come to 30,000 an hour for shoots in airports. But we decided to go ahead as our film is set against the backdrop of the Kochi and Mumbai airports," says Aji John, director.
