Copter’s wreckage, 2 bodies found


Visakhapatnam: Nearly five days after the fatal crash of its Chetak-440 helicopter into the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Navy retrieved the wreckage about 18 km off the Visakhapatnam coast in the early hours of Saturday and found the bodies of Lt Pranav Likithi and Seaman GS Sen  in it.
The helicopter had taken off from INS Dega on the afternoon of March 5  on a routine mission with four crew members onboard _ two pilots and two seamen. It moved seaward for about 18 km off the Visakhapatnam coast before crashing into the sea. Only two the four-member crew could be rescued and they are undergoing treatment at the naval hospital, INHS Kalyani.
