Ahmedabad: A customs team at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport nabbed a man trying to smuggle in 1.4 kg of gold, worth Rs 65 lakh, in the form of chains. The man landed at the airport on Saturday. He was arrested and sent for further questioning on Monday, said officials.
According to customs officials, Mohammed Hanif, a resident of Mumbai, landed from Dubai by an Emirates flight on Saturday morning.
