KFA employees file suit in HC for salary dues,

Bangalore: Employees of grounded carrier Kingfisher Airlines (KfA) on Monday filed an impleading application in the Kingfisher winding up petition in the Karnataka High Court.
The impleading application would be in 10 company petitions pending against KfA at the Karnataka HC.
KfA was grounded in October last year after large scale cancellations of flights due to striking employees who were not paid for over eight months. Nearly 100 employees of the airline have come together to file the application and has sought payment of dues on ‘humanitarian grounds’.
Employees have protested many times to get the attention of Mallya, but have so far been successful in getting only a few months salary, that too in prolonged installments.
