Mumbai: Hearing a PIL seeking helipads in south Mumbai, the Bombay High Court Tuesday issued notices to the Union ministries of defence, environment and forests, and civil aviation, as well as to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and sought their reply.
The PIL filed by activist Arvind Shastri stated that VIP movements in the city disrupted traffic since their helicopters landed in the suburbs and they travelled by road to south Mumbai with their convoy.
