Aurangabad: A flight of low-cost airline Trujet between Hyderabad and Aurangabad made an emergency landing at Hyderabad airport on Sunday morning after the plane developed a technical snag minutes after take-off. The 72-seater ATR-72 500 aircraft was carrying 20 passengers.
Trujet, operated by Turbo Megha Airways Pvt Ltd, took off from Hyderabad at 11.30am. After flying 128 miles, the plane returned when the snag was noticed. Smoke reportedly emanated from the engine, but the airliner refuted the charge.
