Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar: Acting on the complaints of Air Hostess and Hospitality Academy (AHHA) students, the Commissionerate Police on Thursday arrested the AHHA director of on charges of abetting sexual harassment.
Bhubaneswar DCP Satyabrat Bhoi said action will also be initiated against the erring students who ransacked the institute on Wednesday.
Bhoi said a team of police may leave for Hyderabad where students are allegedly being sexually harassed.
The aviation institute director in Bhubaneswar was beaten up by female students for allegedly sexually harassing them.
They also ransacked office alleging sexual harassment in the name of placements.
While most female students allege sexual harassment, boys claim that the institute lured them away from other career paths to join their institute and then ‘dumped’ them after the course.
