Dazzling show on a breezy evening

Visakhapatnam: The stage erected on the beach-side lawns at The Park with the roar of the waves in the background and the chilly winter breeze presented the perfect setting for the 3rd anniversary celebrations of Silk Air here on Saturday evening.

Silk Air, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, was the first international airline to provide a direct flight from Visakhapatnam to Singapore, three years ago.

South African models Amy and Chelsea, of British origin, kicked off the celebrations with a fashion dance. Models enthralled the guests with their modern and traditional dances. Their ‘Samba’ and French dance with peacock wings were the highlights of their performance.

DTS Anand of Visakhapatnam held a sway over the audience by providing the digital music, for the breathless song of Shankar Mahadevan ‘Maha prana deepam… Sivam… Bhaje Manjunadham…,’ with his vocal chords. He also provided the music with his vocal chords as a co-artiste sang a few more songs on stage. DTS Anand can produce the sounds of 32 instruments with his vocal chords.
