Chennai: Airports Authority of India (AAI) has initiated incentive scheme for airlines to enhance cargo growth at Chennai airport. The scheme would reduce operating cost of airlines when they operate cargo freighter aircraft, according to AAI's statement.
"The scheme would go a long way in boosting the growth of cargo volumes at Chennai airport and also reduce the cost of operating cargo freighters," it was further stated.
