Two drunken passengers on Air India Express flight fined Rs 60,000

Trichy: Two inebriated people on board an Air India Express flight from Kaula Lumpur to Trichy were fined on arrival on Monday for misbehaving with air hostesses and damaging property during the flight.
According to AIE sources, passengers Abdul Wakab, 27, and Sheikh Abdullah, 25, from Sivaganga on flight IX682 removed their seat belt ignoring the seat belt light. When the air hostesses requested them to be seated, the duo started shouting at them and other passengers. They damaged seat belts and armrests and created ruckus in the flight.
