GoAir’s ‘Monsoon & More’ offer starting Wednesday says it is ready to drench customers with the sale that has flight ticket prices starting from as low as Rs 849. Other than the airfare, GoAir is also offering a discount of 60 per cent on pre-booked meals, a 10 per cent cashback for payment via Paytm, and a voucher worth Rs 200 from Café Coffee Day.
The booking period for the scheme is between June 29 and July 2, 2016, for travel period between July 1 and September 30, 2016. The airfares in the ‘Monsoon & More’ offer are valid across all channels, the scheme says, and the prices reflect in the ‘GOSMART’ column. The tickets however are non-refundable and there is a re-booking penalty of Rs 1500 per passenger per segment.
The terms and conditions of the Paytm offer say that no minimum transaction amount is required to avail of the scheme and that is valid for eight transactions per user. Payment must be made through the Paytm wallet to avail of the cash back that is to be credited to the customer’s Paytm wallet within 24 hours, and this will be cancelled in case of a refund or cancellation of ticket.
The e-vouchers from Café Coffee Day are to be mailed to the customer after the offer period, i.e. July 3, 2016, and this offer is not valid on combos and merchandise products. The e-vouchers are valid at all outlets other than Coffee Day Lounges, Squares, airports and discounted cafés, and is valid only on one bill on an order of Rs 400 and above.
However, when we checked the GoAir website today, we could not find any cheap tickets.
Shalini Gupta, Senior Vice President, GoAir claimed that since the sale had begun on June 29 morning and there were limited seats, a lot of them were sold out.
