Passengers protest over flight delay

Hyderabad: About 200 passengers who were supposed to go to Mumbai faced trouble due to technical glitches in the Air India flight that arrived at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport from Jeddah.

Sources said that the passengers also were panicked when a hand-held fire extinguisher cylinder fell down and the powder in it spilled into the air during when stampede occurred at RGIA.

The flight AI 966 from Jeddah has landed it Shamshabad at around 7 am. It was scheduled to leave to Mumbai at 9.30 am but due to some technical glitches in the flight the passengers were asked to move to the lounge and wait for some time.
