Kurnool: Trujet airlines, which is operating flights from Kadapa airport to Hyderabad, Tirupati and Vijayawada, on Monday announced the launch of flights between Kadapa and Chennai and from Vijayawada to Chennai for three days a week from June 14.
Vankayalapati Umesh, Managing Director of Turbo Megha Airways Pvt. Ltd, Hyderabad, told The Hindu on Monday that Trujet, the only operator to fly from Kadapa, was enhancing its air connectivity and launching flights in new sectors. “Our strategy is to connect to underserved and unserved routes like Kadapa”. Trujet is also operating flights from Kadapa to Goa and Rajahmundry, Mr. Umesh added. Flights would be operated from Kadapa to Chennai for three days in a week from Tuesday to Thursday. The inaugural flight would leave Kadapa airport at 1 p.m. and would reach Chennai at 1.55 p.m.
