Mumbai bound flight returns to Lucknow after developing snag mid air

Lucknow: A Mumbai bound Go Air flight from Lucknow with around 176 passengers on board had to return after the aircraft developed a technical snag mid-air on Friday afternoon.
According to reports, the flight, 398, had taken off from the Amausi airport at around 1 pm. Fifteen minutes later, while the aircraft was flying thousands of feet over Kanpur, the pilot detected a snag in the aircraft flap and reported it back to the ATC. Airport sources said that the pilot sought clearance for a 'priority landing', which was immediately granted.
Around 1.20 pm, the aircraft landed safely with passengers who were asked to wait till the aircraft is attended and prepared for the flight. This, however, was delayed even as passengers lost their cool. Reports said that some of the passengers had a heated exchange with airport authorities and the police.
