No surge pricing, front-row seats: MPs seek preferential treatments while flying

The nation may be still mourning the Uri Attack in which 18 Indian soldiers were martyred, but for our members of Parliament it is business as usual. Forget National Security, their priority is clearly more perks like preferential treatments while flying.

After demanding a steep increase in salary, Monday's joint committee on salaries and allowances meeting was all about more facilities. The meeting was attended by top officials from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the aviation secretary and officials from different airlines such as Jet Airways and Vistara.
