Files pre-flite breathalyzer test - Jet Airways pilot grounded for 'being drunk'

A Jet Airways pilot, who was scheduled to operate a flight to Paris on Tuesday, had to be taken off duty for suspected alcohol in blood.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) norms dictate that for all airline flights departing from India, each flight crew and cabin crew member should take a pre-flight breath analyser examination. Jet Airways flight 9W 124 had a 30-minute delayed departure after the pre flight test showed positive for alcohol. Jet Airways spokesperson did not comment on the matter.
