In what could be a frustrating situation for passengers, flying in and out of Mumbai airport will now face long delays from now till November end as the only runway of the airport will be shut for five hours on regular basis for repair work.
As per PTI report, the repair work of the nation's second busiest airport will take place in two phases.
Firstly, from October 18-31 when operations at the airport will be hit for four hours from 1200 hours to 1600 hours for seven days but on atlernative days as the main runway (Runway No 09-27) will be closed for surface repair.
