HAL, Concor sign deal for 5 more years for airport trade

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) and Container Corporation of India (Concor) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for a period of five years for their domestic and import-export trade at HAL's Ozar airport.
Speaking to TOI, a source from Concor said, "The last MoU was into effect from March 2008 to October 2016. The new MoU will be in effect till October 2021. The objective is to strengthen relations between the HAL and Concor and provide better services to trade and industry for import and export of their goods."
HALCON, a joint venture between Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) and Container Corporation of India (Concor), has set up an Inland Container Depot (ICD) and Air Cargo Complex adjacent to Ozar airport in Nashik at an investment of Rs 70 crore to upgrade existing infrastructure. It was inaugurated on March 15, 2008.
