Here are the airlines and regulators which have banned Samsung's Note 7

Indian passengers can still carry their Samsung Note 7 devices on flights in their hand baggage in the switch-off mode, according to the earlier Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) guidelines issued on the matter, even as airlines across the world enacted bans on the carriage of the device over the weekend.

The DGCA was to issue a fresh advisory on carrying Samsung's fire-prone Galaxy Note 7 smartphones on board flights by the middle of October, the Economic Times had reported earlier this month.

The fresh advisory was to be issued after the US Federal Aviation Authority revised its guidelines on carriage of the Note 7, the report had added.
