TDP Grabs Credit for Air India's Resurgence

Air India has reportedly made a profit of Rs 105 crore. Although this is a meager profit, the news has become sensational as the airline has hit the profit notes for the first time in nine years.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is now trying to take credit for this feat of Air India as the profits were seen by the airline after senior TDP MP Ashok Gajapathi Raju took charge as the Civil Aviation Minister. A post on Telugu Desam Party's official facebook page reads, "Much credit for the amazing turnaround goes to our very own Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Civil Aviation Minister."
