Hyderabad: A woman who was travelling along with her husband went missing at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) on Friday. According to police, the couple -- Abhinav Kumar and Khusboo -- travelled in the flight from Dubai to Kolkata via Hyderabad when the incident occurred. The woman was missing after she went for shopping as soon as the flight landed at RGIA at 4 p.m. on Friday.
According to police, Khusboo along with her chartered accountant husband Abhinav Kumar working in Dubai landed at 4 p.m.at Shamshabad airport. As they had two hours time left for their connecting flight to Kolkata, the couple went for shopping and then to Coffee Day, from where Khusboo went missing. Panicked Abhinav, lodged a complaint with the RGIA police.
During probe, the police found that the couple had some differences for sometime and even quarrlled during their air travel. While they were at Coffee Day, Khusboo told Abhinav that she was going to the washroom and did not return.
“On verifying the CC camera footage pn the airport premises, the woman was seen boarding a cab. She is suspected to have booked a cab after landing at the airport and left. Their connecting flight to Kolkata was at 6 pm. On verifying with the cab driver, it is learnt that she got down of the cab at Lakdikapul and that is where was last seen,” police said.
