CISF personnel to wear masks at airport and Metro stations

New Delhi: With the ongoing increase in smog over Delhi, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) that guards the Delhi Metro and airports has been asked to don anti-pollution masks to help them operate without being affected by the pollution. The measure was taken after the DG CISF, OP Singh ordered all the CISF personnel to wear air masks while on duty.
Officials said senior CISF officers have been on round to check implementation of the order so that none of them are affected by pollution. They also said at times when security has been tightened, no risk can be taken with the manpower due to sickness, hence all the required measures are being taken.
