Jet Airways flights across India disrupted as pilots report sick

Passengers travelling on Jet Airways across India had a harrowing time at the airports on Tuesday when their flights were delayed and cancelled without any reason. Over 15 flights were cancelled and others delayed by more than an hour.

Cancellations started with a Chennai-Bangalore flight at 6.30am. In the evening, flight 2385 scheduled to depart from Mumbai to Indore at 7pm was delayed by over two hours and yet to take off at 9.45pm when this story was

Jet Airways spokesperson said some flights were rescheduled due to operational reasons. However, they could not confirm the number of cancelled flights. Sources said pilots had planned a mass sick leave causing disruptions; leaving passengers and airport staff clueless.
