After Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar, the Jharsuguda airport would the second airport in Odisha which would be made operational by April 2018, said Guru Prasad Mohapatra, chairman of Airport Authority of India (AAI).
Briefing media persons here, he said the construction of the Jharsuguda airport is scheduled to be completed by April 2018 at a projected cost of Rs 2800 crore.
“Arrangements will be made for 300 passengers in the airport while there will be other facilities like the Taxiway, Technical Block, Fire Tender and staff quarters,” Mohapatra added.
