More exchange counters are being opened at Chandigarh International Airport for the benefit of passengers. According to airport officials, Dena Bank will start a currency exchange counter from Saturday morning.
“This will facilitate passengers for exchange of defunct 1,000 and 500 rupee notes. The counter will function from 9 am to 7 pm in view of departing flight timings. Hence, we will serve the maximum number of outbound passengers from Chandigarh airport,” said an airport official.
