Dubai-based Aviation Services Group (ASG, Stand 884), which specializes in support for operations in Africa, Asia and South America, is expanding its presence in India and its focus on China, the company’s commercial manager, Valdo Gomes, said here at MEBAA.
ASG currently has Indian offices in Goa, Delhi and Mumbai. “We have staff in those three locations, but we want to add more,” said Gomes. “We feel there’s a huge potential for growth.” The company has a number of clients based in India, as well as “foreign companies that fly in for business reasons.”
In addition to its flight and ground handling services, ASG can offer clients inexpensive fuel at many locations, as it also handles fueling for airlines. “Our volume is huge, and prices are good,” Gomes said. “That will benefit a lot of business jet operations anywhere in the world.”
