DGCA seeks two weeks to examine AirAsia India's licensing agreement

Aviation regulator, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)Aon Friday told the Delhi High Court that it needs two more weeks to examine AirAsia India's brand licensing agreement (BLA) to find out who controls the low-cost airlines.

The DGCA moved the application before a division bench headed by Chief Justice G. Rohini.


The court on November 11 directed AirAsia India to submit the agreement to DGCA, which had been asked to to examine it and to file a report about its actual owner on December 16.

As Justice Rohini was on leave on Friday, the matter was listed for February 23 for further hearing.
