GIPL bags repeat order from Cochin Airport

New Delhi: Tech firm Ganges Internationale (GIPL) today said it has bagged the second project order of 11 MW module mounting structures from cochin Airport.

"GIPL is again selected to install a big project of capacity 11 MW module mounting structures by Cochin Airport. GIPL invested Rs 5 crore during manufacturing and installation of module mounting structures," a GIPL statement said.

According to the statement, while, 11 MW is a ground mount repeat order, the pilot tracking project is the first-of-its-kind to get installed at an Indian Airport.

Tracking systems (for sunshine) have been in the foray for a while, across all international airbases. It has slowly crept into the Indian Aviation environment through Cochin's interest in checking the feasibility of such system, to ensure a streamlined experience at the airport, it said.
