Max complaints for poor hygiene against Ahemdabad airport:Govt

New Delhi: Maximum complaints of air travellers regarding poor hygiene, deficient services or negligence of duties in 2016 were against Ahmedabad airport among the 73 operational aerodromes in the country.
There were 390 complaints against Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International airport, followed by 169 against Jaipur airport and 149 against Mangalore airport among the 73 operational aerodromes in the country, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha said in Lok Sabha today.
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) takes immediate corrective steps to resolve the complaints as and when received, he said.
