Mumbai: Vistara, the joint venture carrier between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, has appointed Solomon Wheeler, a former senior executive at SpiceJet as its vice president, marketing.
Wheeler replaces Kishore Mardikar at the post, said a person in the know said.
Before joining Vistara, Wheeler was the vice president, marketing and communications, at mobile phone maker Lava International between March 2015 and March 2017.
Wheeler joined low fare carrier SpiceJet as a senior brand manager, marketing in June 2009 and worked his way up to be senior general manager, marketing in July 2014. He left the airline in March 2015.
