Bengaluru: The Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) recently held its annual fire prevention week. This week-long campaign started on April 13 and concluded on April 20 in the airport premises.
The aim was to raise awareness on fire safety, with the theme being "Firemen - your partner to save life and property". As part of the commemoration, BIAL conducted awareness campaigns throughout the week.
These included training activities to equip taxi drivers, loaders, cargo partners and other stakeholders at airport to operate basic firefighting equipment. Fire safety education was also given to the neighboring communities.
