Man who sent flight hijack threat mail to Mumbai police arrested in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Hyderabad police task force have arrested a 32-year-old businessman for sending a fake hijack threat email to the Mumbai police on April 15.
The accused had sent the threat email because he wanted his "girlfriend" to postpone a proposed trip to Mumbai and Goa.

The man has been identified as M Vamshi Krishna, a transport businessman from Miyapur, Hyderabad. He is married and has a daughter.
Vamshi recently grew close to a Chennai-based woman through Facebook who wanted to go on a fun trip to Mumbai and Goa. "She pestered Vamshi to book a flight for her to Mumbai on April 16 and asked him to meet her there," a task force official said.
