Octopus, CISF on high alert at airport

With central intelligence agencies issuing an alert about a flight hijack threat email, security at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) was put on a high alert on Sunday.
The Shamshabad police said that they had strengthened perimeter security checks and patrolling on Sunday in the wake of the security alert.
"An email was received by the Mumbai police from a woman alerting them about a possible flight hijacking at Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai airports on Sunday. We are on high alert and CISF personnel stepped up the security set-up at the airport," assistant commissioner of police (ACP), Shamshabad, B Anuradha said.
