Guwahati: An anti-hijacking mock exercise was conducted at the LGBI Airport today at 11 am to check and enhance the efficiency of the airport’s contingency plan.
Hemanta Narzary, Principal Secretary, Home & Political, was present during the exercise. BK Tailong, Airport Director, LGBI Airport is the convenor of Aerodrome Committee.
An assumed mock aircraft having 127 passengers was treated as the hijacked aircraft. The duration of the exercise was 55 minute
