Rajkot: It was a scene straight out of a Bollywood potboiler at Rajkot airport on Thursday. Three terrorists armed with automatic weapons had hijacked an aircraft and demanded ransom money.
The personnel from Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) cordoned off the airport with the help of special operation group officials and crime branch of Rajkot police, Gandhigram police station officials and dog squad.
After an hour-long operation when the three terrorists surrendered before the security personnel, the airport authorities declared it to have been a mock drill.
