Veg passenger finds meat in airport food

Indore: A vegetarian passenger was served non-vegetarian food at a restaurant on the premises of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport in Indore on Wednesday evening.
Agam Bhatnagar, a resident of Agra, landed in Indore on Wednesday evening for an official visit and went to a restaurant on the first floor of the airport building. He alleged that he was served non-vegetarian food inspite of him ordering vegetarian fare.
He alleged that he realised the blunder only after eating half of the contents on his plate when his colleague alerted him. "One of my colleagues and I who was also travelling with me had ordered manchurian, noodles and fried rice at Saptagiri Restaurant," Bhatnagar told TOI. "There were chunks of chicken in the rice. My colleague alerted me about it, but it was too late since I had already eaten a major portion of the food," he said.
Bhatnagar claimed that the restaurant staff confirmed the presence of chicken in his order. "There was no manager at the restaurant. Only operation staff members were there. They did not even apologise for the mistake and tried to pass it off as human error," he said.
