Grounded for over 4 hrs, Spicejet passengers fume

About 125 passengers of a SpiceJet flight from Bengaluru to Varanasi via Hyderabad had a harrowing time on Thursday as their flight was delayed for nearly four-and-a-half hours. Flight SG 708, which was scheduled to depart from the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) at 2.40 pm, was delayed four several hours before it departed at 6.45 pm leaving many passengers fuming. The airline had initially informed passengers that the flight from Bengaluru is delayed due to operational reasons and that it would depart at 4.40 pm.
Passengers were again informed that departure has been postponed 6.05 pm.
Thereafter the passengers were once again updated that the due to operational reasons the flight departure has been further delayed and that it would embark only 6.45 pm which left many passengers infuriated. Some of the passengers took to social media to express their displeasure.Nikita Chandok? (@NikitaChandok), a passenger, in a series of tweets said:@flyspicejet No value for our time! This is the worst service ever! Flight SG708 delayed second time for two hours! Been 6 hours to me here! Your executives are not even answering the passengers properly! You are the worst air service provider! There are ill elderly people and babies here! At least be human for them! Flight GS 708 finally departed from KIA at 6.45 pm after a four-and-a-half hour delay and arrived at Hyderabad 8.26 pm. It was originally scheduled to arrive Hyderabad at 3.55 pm.
