Kullu-Chandigarh flight from today

Manali: Given the high demand from both tourists and residents, Air India will conduct Kullu-Chandigarh sortie from today for the first time ever. The airport authorities will conduct regular sorties seven days a week.
The 45-minute flight will start at 8.35am from Kullu-Manali airport at Bhuntar and will return from Chandigarh airport at 9.50am. In this way, passengers can get connecting flights from Chandigarh to Delhi. A private flight was operating on Kullu-Chandigarh route last year but it stopped its operations due the lean tourist season in Kullu.
Union minister of health and family welfare JP Nadda will the chief guest at the launch of the flight. Union minister of state for civil aviation Jayant Sinha was also present. "Now Kullu will be directly connected to Delhi and Chandigarh. This will benefit the residents of Kullu and will also boost tourism," said Kullu-Manali Airport director AA Ansari.
