PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Rajkot international airport

Rajkot: Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Greenfield international airport at Rajkot in Gujarat and said that the government has made aviation affordable and within reach of the lesser privileged. “Aviation cannot be about rich people. Speaking at the public meeting, PM Modi took a veiled dig at Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) saying that those who oppose the international airport at Rajkot can travel by bus. “Who had imagined an airport will come in this district? Is this not development? Such kinds of development projects empower people,” Modi said.
