Prithviraj Foundation demands to name Jabalpur Airport on Rani Durgawati’s name

Deepak Singh Rajput founder of Prithviraj Chauhan Foundation has demanded to name Dumna Airport in the name of Rasthriya Veerangana Rani Durgawati Dumna Air Port. The legendary queen sacrificed her life fighting for the independence of our country. Her contribution in freedom struggle is scripted in golden letters in the history of independence.

According to information the members and office bearers of Prithviraj Chauhan Foundation have demanded to name Dumna Air port in the name of legendary queen Rasthriya Veerangana Rani Durgawati. Deepak Singh Rajput founder of the foundation asserted that in backdrop of the contribution of the legendary queen her name is scripted in golden letters as far freedom struggle is concern. He said that government of India has initiated with a move under which important institutions are being named after great personalities, martyr and other eminent personalities.

He informed that name of Mumbai air port is named after Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Airport, New Delhi airport is named after former PM Indira Gandhi, Kolkata airport is named after Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Airport and Ajmer Kishangarg Airport of Rajasthan has been named after Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan has been proposed by Ministry of Aviation. In view of the move being initiated across the country to name important airport in the name of legendary personalities, the Prithviraj Chauhan Foundation strongly believes that the name of Dumna airport must be named after legendary queen as Rasthriya Veerangana Rani Durgawati Dumna Air Port.
