Vijayawada: MP Kesineni Srinivas and Minister Pithani Satynarayana were stranded at the Gannavaram Airport here on Thursday when the Air India flight was delayed for four hours due to a technical snag. The passengers staged a protest on the airport premises and questioned the staff for delay. The MP also informed the situation to the airport authorities and officials of Air India. Finally, the problem was resolved when the Air India arranged a special flight.
According to the airport officials, the Delhi bound Air India flight reached the Gannavaram Airport in the evening. As per schedule, it should take off to Delhi at 5 pm, but in vain.
Initially, the officials tried to solve the problem, but due to the technical snag they failed to rectify the problem.
