Udit and Aditya Narayan Speak Up About The Airport Incident

Just yesterday we spoke of how being a star kid, one is under serious scrutiny for their every move. Udit Narayan’s son, Aditya got a taste of bitter medicine a few days back when he going into a brawl with the staff of Indigo Airlines, on not wanting to pay excess baggage. The star kid was caught on camera, abusing the staff, reminding them of his high status in society.
This obviously didn’t go down too well, and once the video went viral, Aditya received some major backlash from trolls.
In his defence, Aditya, who is currently hosting the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, took a rather sly dig at all the haters. He took to Facebook to react to the incident, by sharing a news video, saying, “Tum gaali do toh normal baat... Aur hum dede toh... #breakingNews.”
Udit Narayan, who is hardly ever in the news for the wrong reasons, spoke about the situation to Hindustan Times saying, “Main itna hi kehna chahunga that since his childhood he has been a good child [boy] aur usne acha kaam kiya hai and pata nahi yeh waha pe kya aapas mein jhagda hua, discussion hua. Video mein toh woh gusse mein lag raha hai (All I want to say is that since his childhood he has been a good boy and has worked hard. I don’t know what happened there between them. He looks angry in the video).”
Commenting on the incident, a member of staff who was present at the airport at the time said, “While making a video he pointed a finger at the duty manager and again used profanity. When he was politely asked to be civil and not use such language as there were other passengers and female staff members present, he started shouting even louder and used abusive words which we are refraining from mentioning here. He was informed that if he continues to misbehave he will not be allowed to travel.”
