43 bookings for Bangkok flight

Chandigarh: Air India has received 43 bookings for the maiden Bangkok flight from Chandigarh airport, Mohali, scheduled for December 11. Airports Authority of India confirmed the flight in its winter schedule released on Tuesday.
Air India will fly the 162-seater Airbus 320 Neo thrice a week — Monday, Wednesday and Friday, said Air India airport manager R K Negi. He said the non-stop flight will take around five-and-a-half hours to reach Bangkok. "We are fast filling with bookings. In all, 43 seats have already been booked with a return fare of Rs 17,200. The flying time is of five-and-a-half hours; the flight will first arrive from Bangkok at 9.20am and then depart at 1.35pm."
This will be the third international flight from Chandigarh international airport since its inception in 2015. The other two are Indigo flight to Dubai and an Air India Express flight to Sharjah.
