Guwahati: In an incident that exposes gross negligence on the part of Jet Airways, a passenger whose luggage was lost during her flight from Kolkata to Guwahati has been made to run from pillar to post, but without any positive result.Giving an account of her harrowing experience, Priyanka Agarwal, who had arrived in Guwahati on the Jet Airways flight (no. 9W09030) in connection with a family function here on November 3, said after landing at the LGBI Airport, she found her luggage missing.
“When I approached the authorities concerned, they told me that my luggage was misplaced and assured me it would be retrieved within the day. But I am yet to get hold of my luggage, despite my persistent queries over the days,” she said, adding, “I was again told that the luggage would be traced within seven days. I was finally told that a small compensation would be given to me, if my luggage is not found within 21 days.”
